During this unit i have learnt all about shooting in a 1×1 aspect ratio this is where you shoot your photos in a square format. I think the main things that have been successful is my 35 day Instagram posts and most of my photo shoots because i posted every day for the 35 day post except one where i posted 2 the day after and most of my shoots have been successful because i got most of the photos i need to.I think the things i need to work on is the analysis into my photos especially my shoot on Instagram filter because i didn’t know what to write. I did some research into Hasselblad and photographers website this helped me to create my website and help me know what to add. I think the main thing i enjoyed in this project is the research into Hasselblad because before this WordPress project i had barely a clue on what Hasselblad is and now i know quite a lot about them. I think in the future i want to try to avoid shooting in a 1×1 aspect ratio and also using WordPress because the aspect ratio limits me on what i can do and that i don’t like and i don’t ever want to use WordPress because i hate it. For this project we used Instagram and i had to use my phone and camera for the photos i was a bit annoyed when i stared because i got a camera for Christmas and thought i couldn’t use it but then i realised u can shoot in 1×1 and then we used Instagram for the 35 day challenge. Overall the project was really successful i got some good photos using the 1×1 aspect ratio and i got all research i needed to do and although i said i hated it it could have been worse.
