120mm film is film that you would mostly use for a square format images that you use in film camera’s this is so you can take your photos in a 1×1 aspect ratio the benefits of shooting in 120mm film is that you will get a better quality image from printing but the down fall is the price because it will cost more money for the chemicals and the materials you use but the film it self is pretty expensive it cost about £5 for one role of film which will soon add up to you spending hundreds on film so it may be better buying in bulk because you might end up saving a lot of money i prefer digital over film because i don’t like the fact that you can’t see the image straight after taking the image because then you can take a photo knowing if it’s a good photo because then you know if you need to re-take the photo or you know if you really like the photo but then if you use film you have to develop just to see the image let alone if it was properly exposed or even if it was a good photo you might use a role of film hate the photo and that a waste of £5 and really just not that worth it in my opinion it don’t mean i wont try film photography just just means i will use a digital over film
I chose to annotate this photo because i really like the way the eyes stand out this photo was taken on 120mm film i like this photo because i really like how this piece has been created with composition just the like the snow in her hair looks amazing like not to much and not to little and it looks natural and the way the eyes look i really like because first thing i saw and noticed about this photo i think because the reflection in the eyes helps it look better and makes it stand out more the things i don’t like about this image is that it is in black and white i do like it but then i think the colours would look better.I chose to annotate this image because i really like the way she is looking because she is looking of camera it makes me wonder what she is looking at and it intrigues me although i like that this image is in black and white it would be nice to know what it looks like in colour the only thing i don’t like about this image is that because it is in a 1×1 aspect ratio because they used 120mm film you can’t see the hole imageI chose to annotate the image because i really like how the model is positioned in this makes me think she is lost or looking for something because she is crouched and because she is low to the floor she is looking in my opinion i like how the background is kind of drawing you to her the only thing i don’ like about this image is the background is boring and plane to me. I chose to analyse this image because i like the was this photo is lit up because if you look how it goes dark lit and then dark this makes me think that they used curtains or even paper or card to crate this the only thing i don’t like is the hat because to the left of her the hat blend’s into the background and i don’t like this
